CEO, Founder
Jonathan Knudsen
Jonathan Knudsen's expertise is founded on strong business acumen, budget and forecast preparation and management, profit and loss critiquing and hotel management. Growing up in New York, Jonathan's passion for hospitality was rooted in a line of family-owned and operated establishments. Knowing he wanted to make this his life’s work, Jonathan enrolled in Johnson & Wales University, earning a double degree in restaurant management and hospitality management with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Jonathan has extensive industry experience bringing projects to market with hotel openings, concept development and execution. Groomed by global hospitality leader Starwood Hotels & Resorts, he led multiple teams from Southern California, to the Caribbean to New York City before joining boutique hotel Pioneer Morgans Hotel Group as an Executive Operational Leader directing the renovation and operation of the iconic Hudson Hotel New York and its regional portfolio of NYC properties.

Josh Pendley
Josh was born and raised in a hospitality household. Between his grandfather owning a drive-in diner in the sixties and his father running multiple steakhouses during his childhood, Josh learned the value of delivering excellent food and service at an exceptionally young age. Josh began his career working for some of the leading hotel groups in the world, including Starwood Hotels and Morgans Hotel Group. Through his career Josh excelled in some of the most influential cities in North America including New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Expanding on his hospitality experience, Josh collaborated with leading luxury co-working space Neuehouse here in New York City. Josh has extensive meeting and events experience overseeing properties which boast over 50,000 sq ft of meeting space. He brings over fifteen years of hospitality experience to the table, along with a passion for food, beverage, music, art and fashion. All of these elements come together to deliver marketing operational excellence and a dynamic culture.
Corporate - Director of Finance
Danielle Matesi
Danielle is from Charleston, SC, which is where her career in hospitality began. She worked for The Charleston Place Hotel in operations before transitioning to the accounting department. Danielle's extensive knowledge of hotel and food and beverage operations created a strong foundation for her transition into the world of hospitality accounting. After five years in Charleston, Danielle moved into a task force role with Belmond, working in cities from St. Petersburg, Russia, to St. Michaels, MD, and New York City. As Financial Controller of El Encanto Hotel in Santa Barbara, CA, she led the implementation of new accounting software and labor control models, further solidifying her financial acumen. In 2019, she pivoted to hotel asset management with Jones Lang LaSalle, where she represented global hotel owners and worked with brands such as Accor, Hyatt, and Marriott, before joining Concrete Hospitality Group as Corporate Director of Finance.
Director of Social Media
Issadora Martinez is a multimedia professional creator with experience in managing and optimizing social media accounts for a variety of clients. In the past year, some of her work has been featured on Forbes, New York Times, Thrillist, and more. Prior to her career at Concrete HG, she has grown up in the entertainment industry as a child actor in various TV shows, commercials, international tours and more. She made her Broadway debut at 8 years old, and in recent years has transitioned to a professional music career. Some of her songs have been featured on Spotify Editorial playlists, and recently surpassed 1 million streams as an independent artist. While simultaneously pursuing her music career, Issadora is the Director of Social Media at Concrete Hospitality Group.

With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Roberto Sanabria is a seasoned professional dedicated to crafting unparalleled guest experiences. As the Area Operations Manager at Concrete Hospitality, he blends strategic leadership with a passion for service excellence. Known for his innovative approach and commitment to elevating standards, Roberto has successfully overseen the seamless operations of Serafina Group, among many other prestigious establishments, and developed his mixology proficiency under the tutelage of Beverage Director Amir Babayoff at Merchants Hospitality, creating lasting impressions and fostering customer loyalty. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on team development, Roberto continues to shape the future of hospitality with a unique blend of expertise and genuine hospitality.
